Dur Doux, a Black-owned mother-daughter line, made its NYFW debut in September — a terrible time for such a cool milestone. This is their second show, and they went all-in with the current trend of putting the clothes in very, very ornate settings. But these aren’t as formal as the gowns from, say, Ziad Nakad, which makes for an interesting juxtaposition.
