We saw America Ferrera at the People’s Choice Awards wearing this leadoff ensemble from the Coach show, and at the time we thought, “Oh, maybe it just pulled apart in the limo.” NOT SO. It’s just… bad, and profoundly unworthy of anyone who puts it on, and that includes the runway model on whom it was chosen to arrive into this world. Great news: There’s another one in purple, plus some truly misguided versions of this top with giant bows attached. The leather goods are all competent, but I just cannot tell what this brand thinks its identity is beyond that. The Rubber Duckie sweater is whimsical, but is Coach whimsical? Was this show otherwise whimsical? I just… is Jeremy Scott gonna roll up in here next?
