No, this still isn’t the work of Matthieu Blazy — we don’t get to see his vision for Chanel until October — and although it feels very Chanel-y, even Vogue noted it lacked cohesion (!) and a point of view (!). These days, that’s the equivalent of Vogue going out and stabbing someone in the face. Maybe Anna is going out — well, “out” — with a bang. I have to agree that this is….pretty not great.
