I love it when the label sends us the official inspiration behind any collection. This one is particularly interesting:

Following a recent visit to Dia Beacon, Christian Juul Nielsen’s Pre-Fall 2023 collection for Herve Leger draws upon the work of American sculptor, Richard Serra, whose monumental, large-scale, site-specific sculptures mark him as one of the most significant artists of his generation. His works explore and redefine the relationship between the viewer, the work, and the site, expanding the meaning of sculpture.  Sweeping, organic lines are featured in new lightweight, graphic jacquard and intarsia techniques. While sheer fabric mixing and sumptuous knitted mesh textures play upon the experiential, tactile nature of Serra’s work.

With the new alleged return of early aughts fashion, I’m sure the folks at Herve Leger are hoping they’re going to have yet another renaissance. This collection isn’t particularly bandage-dress-y, but it’s VERY celeb-friendly, and I liked it.
