This is for all you lovers out there who have been agitating for Meghan to hew more closely to the Queen Letitiza style of royal wardrobe! (I am not, for the record, one of those people, although I often like what Letizia wears. I tend to find her a little prone to dressing like the Deputy DA, and I prefer my royal personages to be prone to emerging in really ridiculous enormous sleeves.) Today, Meghan and Harry went to the Well Child Awards, which is one of his regular events and it’s always a tear-jearker, full of hugging and sweet brave kiddies, as it, per the Kensington Palace twitter, “celebrat[es] the inspirational qualities of the UK’s seriously ill children and young people, along with those who go that extra mile to make a difference to their lives.”

Outfit-wise, this is a new addition to Meghan’s Dark Suit Wardrobe (although it is all old pieces, from what the geniuses at Meghan’s Mirror can tell) and it feels VERY Jessica Mulroney-inspired to me.  I  admit that I personally wish she had worn something a bit peppier for this particular event?

[PS: Speaking of Meghan, we rounded up some of the best duplicates for her recent tuxedo dress here, if you’re in the market.]
