On a basic level, I understand the need to wear tons of makeup when you’re going to be under hot, bright lights. But having been asked to cover this Halle Berry Vogue signing for NY Mag (it involved standing in a room for half an hour trying to see her over a line of photographers, and whining about our blisters), we got to see exactly how much makeup it took for Halle to look like she was hardly wearing any. The answer: SO MUCH.
That, of course, is neither here nor there, because the issue is her outfit. Undoubtedly, being as she is Halle Berry, she thus makes this look completely hot. However, that does not negate the fact that this is a see-through lacy top whose abdominal detail looks, to me, like a very tiny pair of crotchless panties. I mean, if you’re not interested in wearing crotchless panties as panties, then why bother at all?
