In these very unpredictable, upheaval-filled days, it’s nice to have one constant. And it’s that Michelle Pfeiffer is still out there, with that face, looking like this, in totally reasonable outfits. God bless, I feel soothed and regulated.
PS: If there is another, arguably less pleasant, constant, it’s that Taylor Sheridan is a font of unending drama serieses set in Montana or whatever; Michelle Pfeiffer is promoting The Madison, which sounds like it SHOULD be the upscale hotel soap of my dreams but which instead “follows the Clyburn family, originally from New York City, who relocate to the Madison River valley of southwest Montana for emotional recovery following a tragedy that shattered the family.” The male lead is Kurt Russell (working a lot now, since he’s also still in Monarch!) and some of the kids are played by the dude from Suits (Patrick J. Adams), Jack from Lost (or, I guess if you’re really old school, Charlie from Party of Five, Matthew Fox), and a bunch of other people you will at least vaguely recognize, plus Will Arnett as a therapist? Anyway, good for all these people for getting a piece of the Sheridan pie, don’t let him sue you, and thanks for all the Pfeiffer.
