This is far more sheer than I realized it was when I saw it on TV:
And yet something about it still works for me. It doesn’t feel like it’s sheer for the point of being sheer. FINALLY, the sheer qualities of the dress are sort of sexy and mysterious, rather than making the wearer look like she got caught in her shower curtain at the Four Seasons and then was so struck by its whimsy that she just decided to wear it out. And now that someone’s nailed it, let’s all never try this again. Thanks!
