Happy weekend! I hope you’ve got something diverting planned.  I know it’s hot in Europe and the UK right now; stay cool if you’re there right now.

Over at Drinks With Broads this week, Heather raged about the Enhanced Games while I thought the new Mandalorian movie was absolutely fine and we start the long goodbye to Emily in Paris. And we’ve got a fresh new recap of Rivals!

Here are our top ten best-sellers for May!

Now Nicholas Galitzine is in the running for James Bond? Interesting.

J.Crew’s great Tropez shorts now come in a very cute print! (I really like the eyelet ones too.)

This is one of my favorite houses in town! California’s Last Surviving ‘Bubble House’ Is for Sale. I do think it would be hard to figure out how to hang art on the wall of a bubble house but otherwise, it’s delightful. (It actually was, to my mind, more delightful the last time it sold, a couple of years ago, when it was clearly more lived-in, but overall the delights remain.)

Yikes: Tom Hardy Reportedly Fired From ‘MobLand’ After On-Set Clashes With Producers and Cast

It’s the last few days of the Elemis promotion at QVC in case you need anything. I LOVE these eye masks and they’re spendy so now it a good time to stock up. While we’re talking about beauty products, I do really like this new Ole Henriksen cleanser. (A little goes a long way, you can totally just get the small one.) I promised a report!

I low-key love this madras maxi-dress. (Also comes in a mini-skirt and shorts, both of which are probably more sensible options. The mini isn’t THAT mini, although reviews indicate it runs small.) I’m also so entertained by these shorts. (Not madras but arguably kooky.)

In case you’re short on time: 50 Great Classic Novels Under 200 Pages

I love this piece about “the last full-time taxidermist at any museum in the United States” — the dioramas at the Natural History Museum are SO good. Los Angeleno kids have been admiring them at field trips for a million years. (LA’s NHM is stealth really good. They have a whole exhibit about how they make their dioramas that is fascinating! It’s running through September if you’re in town.)

This was a fun thread at Reddit: What lifetime deal are you still grandfathered into, or removed from, that’s no longer available? I used to have a SWEET AT&T deal and they finagled me out of it because they told me I couldn’t add International Roaming to it anymore and I needed that. BOOO AT&T.
