You made it to another Friday. I CONGRATULATE YOU.
At Drinks With Broads this week, we had A LOT OF CONTENT! First, Heather recaps the season finale of Severance. I tackled the most recent episode of The White Lotus. (This one got a LOT of comments.) Heather argued that it’s time for us to pull the plug on Grey’s Anatomy and we all talked about our walk-up songs. We also took another look back at J.Crew catalogs of yore, and Heather had some notes for Running Point.
There was a huge earthquake in Southeast Asia this morning, mostly affecting Myanmar and Thailand. If you have friends or family there, or live there yourself, I hope everyone is okay and hanging in there.
You know Feldman’s got stories: Corey Feldman claims Johnny Depp got him kicked off What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. (I literally forgot Depp was even in that movie.) I know he had an autobiography come out about ten years ago, but I feel like he’s one of those actors who should wait until he really doesn’t give a shit about burning bridges and then UNLOAD. Heather and I are working on a big spring shoes post for next week, but, as a sneak peak, Dolce Vita generously gifted us a few pairs and they are really cute. Heather got these metallic sneakers, and I’m trying out these sandals. (It’s not seasonal but I also to highlight that the brand offers wide calf boots AND extra wide calf boots, which I really appreciate as a person who has issues with her calves fitting into boots. I know I’m not alone in this!) [affiliate links]
