Nobody does it like the Brits, and then the Aussies, when it comes to magnificulous millinery — and yes, I mashed up “magnificent” and “ridiculous,” which in itself is a magnificulous thing to do — but I’m proud that a couple times a year we do at least try to dress up our heads. Doubly so when it involves Cyndi Lauper wearing a giant tiki hut. I have it on good authority that she just wants to have fun, and I’m inclined to let her.
