Hey guys,

Once again, Heather and I are thrilled to have contributed a Doodle as part of National Doodle Day, in which doodles from both actual celebrities and yahoos such as ourselves are auctioned off on eBay in order to raise money for NF Inc, which helps families who’ve been affected by Neurofibromatosis,  a genetic disorder that is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington’s Disease combined. Funds raised go toward education, advocacy, and research for treatments and hopefully a cure for this disease.

Here’s our Doodle, proving once more that there is a REALLY GOOD REASON we’re not artists:

See? We’re wearing fascinators, hence the “fascinatoring” tagline! I am wearing Princess Bea’s fascinator, obviously, and Heather is wearing a fascinator of her own design, which somehow also involves the disembodied head of Joan Collins. We drew this on a plane. I can’t even imagine what the girl next to us thought. Well, I’m pretty sure she was a kindred spirit, as we overheard her talking to some dude before we all boarded, and the topic of their conversation was: Nic Cage’s Hair: WHAT IS THE DEAL?  But still. ANYWAY! The auction goes through the 22nd and we invite you to bid early and bid often! If our effort doesn’t grab you, there are some AWESOME Doodles from other people:  Greek’s Amber Stevens, who we love, drew a picture of her purse.  Julianna Margulies’s really captured the essence of her hair. Cory Monteith’s is adorably punny. I don’t even know what David Duchovny’s is, but it feels very Mulder. There are more Doodles going up today, and it’s a really good cause, so we invite you to check them out!
