In the last year or two, Fendi has pushed hard into the celebrity scene. Maybe it was always like that, and my memory is just faulty. But when Karl Lagerfeld was in charge, the brand always seemed like an afterthought compared with his work at Chanel, and I don’t remember it drawing as random an array of famous faces as it has here. What madness brings Sarah Paulson and Rita Ora together into the front row? Maybe it’s the same stuff that had Diane Kruger and Lisa Rinna colliding.
