So, I love wrapping paper. I have boxes of it down in my storage space. Does this stop me from buying more? It does not. (You know how it always works out that the heftiest tube of wrapping paper you own is always the one you like the least? I feel like I’ve been using this one tube for years! I’m also hoarding some of the ones I extra love because I’m almost out of them, like the brief period when you could buy wrapping paper in the famous Scalamandre zebra.) And as much as I like a random, hodgepodge of a tree, I also love a coordinated wrapping paper situation. (I also like to use random stuff for wrapping paper — for years, I was using old scraps of cool wallpaper. It’s also fun to use tea towels, or vintage cloth napkins.) And we are living in a golden age of wrapping paper! For example, here’s wrapping paper for every dog you’ve got! Or for several colleges for which you might have a rooting interest! I kinda want this insane festive shrimp paper. Or these festive pickles! Or festive sharks! There is even a wealth of 6-7 wrapping paper if you have kids who would think that was funny. What about this, that just says FROM SANTA?
I also love these “cruising critters” who are celebrating Hanukkah on scooters and in little cars, this retro Nutcracker paper, and this super cute paper that’s just Santa’s belt over and over. We’ve got festive dinosaurs, and surfing Santa, and dogs in Christmas sweaters, and SHEEP in Christmas sweaters, and Christmas Yoda, and this adorable pink poinsettia paper. Sometimes you just can’t wrap another gift, and these Santa gift bags are so cute. (These are good bags, too.) Or maybe one of these will appeal:
