Zoe Saldana and Eva Longoria are the executive producers of this new HBOMax show, which sounds quite charming (and my beloved Dascha Polanco is also in it), and the fact that it’s set in Miami in the ’80s means Eva’s outfit makes much more thematic sense than it might have in a vacuum. Nothing, however, will explain the fact that she has shown up in a lavender leather bikini top under a matching blazer with a coordinating skirt and still looks….very good indeed. Maybe it’s literal magic?
Meanwhile, Zoe has kindly popped by on the way home from her mildly dressy backyard wedding, after tiring of hearing two of her cousins argue all night about who Grandma actually loved best. She just wacked one of them on the head with her bouquet and left.
