When I first started looking at the pics from this event — it’s the premiere of Uncut Gems — my main takeaway was that Emily and her husband DEFINITELY look like they’re going to different event. She’s going dancing, and he is going to eat a bunch of brownies in front of the TV in a state of MAXIMUM COZY. Then I noticed she kept holding up her arm:
Yesterday, Harvey Weinstein came to what the New York Times called “a tentative settlement” with his victims for 25 million dollars, but the egregious detail, for many, is that this deal — which is not related to his upcoming criminal trial; this was a civil suit — “would not require the Hollywood producer to admit wrongdoing or pay anything to his accusers himself.” I really cannot say it any better than Emily.
