As you may have heard, earlier this week Kensington Palace announced that Meghan is “supporting” a new cookbook called Together (she wrote the foreword, and although I don’t think the organization that the proceeds from the book will be benefiting is a patronage in the technical sense, it is definitely one that she seems very involved in). Before we get into the What Is She Wearings, here’s what the cookbook is about:

Together celebrates the power of cooking to connect us to one another.

In the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire in London, a group of local women gathered together to cook fresh food for their families and neighbors.

Over the chatter and aromas of the kitchen they discovered the power of cooking and eating together to create connections, restore hope and normalcy, and provide a sense of home. This was the start of the Hubb Community Kitchen.

Together is a storybook of this West London community, showcasing over 50 delicious recipes from the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen and including a foreword by HRH The Duchess of Sussex.

The women invite you to make their favorite simple dishes—many handed down over generations— from the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Eastern Mediterranean for you and your loved ones.

Every dish tells a story of history, culture and family, and each has been developed to use few ingredients and easy methods so that anyone can cook these personal recipes.

Together features mouthwatering recipes including Green Chilli and Avocado Dip, Coconut Chicken Curry, Eggplant Masala, Persian Chicken with Barberry Rice, Caramelized Plum Upside-Down Cake, Spiced Mint Tea and lots more.

This stunning charity cookbook is a homage to life, friendship and togetherness.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this book will help the Hubb Community Kitchen to strengthen lives and communities through cooking.

Leaving aside that this seems like an EXTREMELY good cause…I really, REALLY want to eat all of that, like, IMMEDIATELY. (The book is available for pre-order for us Americans at all the usual suspects, including Amazon; it comes out here on the 25th. I am assuming that the American version will have done the measurement conversions, but I WILL do math for a coconut curry.) From everything I’ve read, it seems like Meghan has spent a lot of time with these women, and today they had a party to launch this cookbook, where everyone cooked, Meghan gave a speech, and Harry and Doria stood around and looked generally pleased and also probably hungry.

I’m just going to leave you with this:

Oh! Outfits! I almost forgot (I was thinking about samosas). We’ll get a way closer look at everything in the slideshow, but! The coat — which I love — is Smythe; the top is actually this bodysuit; the skirt is by her old friend Misha Noono (and is NOT helping me restrain myself from buying a black pleated midi-skirt);  and the shoes are her beloved Sarah Flint (which I found out before I even got out of bed, because they sent out an email to let me know that I can pre-order them, which I appreciated. I NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS! And they are GORGEOUS shoes). To the pictures!
