Marcia “Kimberly Shaw” Cross is starring in an Off-Broadway play called Pay The Writer, which threw a benefit performance last night for the scribes and actors currently on strike — a very wise tie-in, indeed. I miss Marcia, who was so brilliant on both Melrose Place and Desperate Housewives. She’s worked very sporadically since, dipping a toe here and there while also working as a psychologist (I THINK she still does this?) and also kicking anal cancer. I hope this is a precursor to her returning to television in a JUICY role somewhere, once the strike ends. Everyone start brainstorming now so that you’re ready when the day arrives.
