Hailee Steinfeld is not just strolling Washington Square Park looking like a 1994 dream girl of her own accord — she’s actually filming Hawkeye right now, which is the Jeremy Renner Avengers thing for Disney+. (As a person who is basically comic-book-clueless, I cannot explain any more about it beyond that. I looked up the Wiki for the character she’s allegedly playing, and it says “Kate Bishop accepted the alias of Hawkeye from Clint Barton, who was dead at the time. When Barton was revived by Scarlet Witch, they started to work with each other, sharing the ‘Hawkeye’ alias,” and this really reminded me of the time someone on Twitter pointed out that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is basically just a soap opera. Truly all of that could also have happened on Days, and honestly probably has.) I love this look on her — but I really need to know more about that dog.
