I miss the olden days of a daytime schedule that was TEEMING with soap operas. At one time or another I had watched every single one of them. I’m always heartened to see, from either the red carpet or the nominee lists, how many familiar faces are still running the show. Daytime TV has to be the most equal opportunity employer out there in terms of a huge range of ages. I mean, Abe from Days won Best Actor this year, and he is 71 and has been on the show for 37 years. They write for older actors, not just the pip-squeaks, and it’s great.
Okay, now let’s get to the CRAZY outfits from this weekend — the creative arts night and the regular night — because THEY DELIVERED.
