Dakota, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal are in Celine Song’s newest, Materialists, for which I’ve seen a lot of videos — all on Vogue’s Instagram — of Dakota making Pedro laugh until he can’t breathe. They seem to be pretty true friends in real life, but Dakota is also very savvy and doubtless knows Pedro lights the Internet afire lately, so she brought a cardboard cutout of Pedro to this screening. And knew exactly what to do with it.
I don’t even CARE that her intentionally off-center dress keeps making me want to tug at my own shirt to make sure it’s sitting even. Her work here is done.
