Well! This was fun. Lily Allen starred in a production of The Pillowman this summer in London, and, in part, I am sure, to rustle up PR for the production (which worked) and possibly also to cheer herself up after what is A VERY VERY DARK SHOW (who can say if that worked?!), turned her stage door exit into her fashion runway. It was extremely entertaining — and also highlighted some new-to-me designers, so that’s an extra plus. Hopefully, she’s on a restorative holiday even as I type.
