Between this and Emma Stone not wearing LV at the luncheon, I wonder if they’re too busy on stuff for the SAGs and the Oscars to deal with all the smaller events. Bode stepped into the breach with this fringe party, and it IS a party. I couldn’t decide at first, but I think the fringe overlaid on the shift dress is the right amount of whimsical — this dress is a party and it’s perfect on someone young and striking and blessed with the ability to carry a whole lot of dress. (I like the whole thing even more when you see the bodice close up on Instagram.) But, I freely admit that a) we are in a wee dead zone when it comes to events right now and b) I have been consuming so much figure skating, so my tolerance and craving for clothing drama is HIGH right now. Maybe I’m looking at it through rhythm-dance-tinted glasses.
