Vanity Fair threw a party for an exhibition of… something… which I think is really just an excuse to get people like Charlize to hang out with you before the Oscars. And, yes, it was impossible that Charlize acquired all that hair she’s recently had through her own follicular means, and I must say, whether they were wigs or clip-in extensions, it looked GOOD. I think this cut is too harsh on her — though perhaps it’s also the color; it’s better in that honeyed hue of the Fast Nine trailer — and I hope she decides to agree with me on this one thing at least. Halle Berry has set a very, very high lifetime bar for celebs who look magnificent with very short hair and it’s challenging to meet.
