The outdoor venue here initially seemed a bit cockamamie, like Karl was asking for heels to get stuck in soil and people to trip and faceplant into the pile of leaves. However, a) apparently it’s indoors and it’s all faked, which… is both amazing, and also makes me concerned that a LOT of nature — not all of it is backdrops — was disturbed unnecessarily for this, and b) whether it’s the effect of the stroll through an autumnal forest, or the clothes themselves, the photos from this event are very striking. Almost relaxing. They make me want to watch a rom-com set in the fall.
