And then there’s putting an evening gown over elevated khakis. Ideal, I guess, for those nights when you have to run to a gala directly after your shift at Target but even then, I imagine you could work something out that didn’t involve leaving your pants on. I thought we all agreed that we were just going to look the other way when it came to the alleged revival of Dress Over Pants! On the other hand…there were very few shots of La Cotillard directly facing the camera in this look so maybe she’s trying.
