At last night’s ceremony, each Woman of the Year received a different honor. Cate’s was for philanthropy; Ruth Wilson’s was Television Icon; Letitia Wright got Breakthrough Talent, which feels maybe a year late but that’s okay; HBC took British Icon (Ruth Wilson also being British, I assume the difference is just that… Helena’s is for GENERAL outstanding Britishness in all mediums?); Alexa Chung got Breakthrough Designer of the Year, which is intriguing, because I feel like she is the only person I’ve ever seen wear her clothes; and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley got “Editors’ Choice,” which… could mean any one of a million things, including, “We need to invite someone who will for sure come.” Anyway, ENJOY.
