For a while there it felt like Carrie Underwood was trying to trend hipper, but that seems to have gone out the window. This dress has its merits — it’s like a Zac Posen knockoff and if Coco Rocha showed up in it, I’d probably love it — but the weird thing about Carrie is that for someone so undeniably stunning, she gets lost in her clothes pretty easily. It’s happening here. It could be anyone in that dress. Thankfully, she went predictably zany once her hosting gig began.
