I appreciate everything about this on Carey, including the fact that she’s wearing a very high neckline without looking droopy — a trick my sullen chest and I have yet to master. This is super charming and well-styled on Carey, whose style has taken a nice step forward this year, which is also a mean feat given that she first hit the road for this film in September after having had a baby about an hour earlier. That is not the time when most women feel sartorially creative, or even remotely impelled to wear clothes that zip.
Also, I look at this and imagine Kate Middleton sitting in bed eating saltine crackers while flipping through Twitter, and going, “My yoga arms could TOTALLY have glistened in this. Perhaps they’ll make one for me in ice blue in about a year.”
