This is sensible, it is ladylike, it is VERY pretty on her, and it — for some reason — makes me think that Renée Zellweger should have her agent call Julian Fellowes and see if she can get a part on the next season of The Gilded Age, where she will play Aurora Fane’s dizzy aunt (or is she crazy…like a fox?) who keeps (accidentally??? who knows??) screwing up all of Bertha Russell’s carefully laid plans. And Bertha thinks Renée is out to get her, but NO ONE believes her. Even George thinks Renée is innocent — just look at her! So demure, so refined! So subdued! But IS SHE?? Aunt Agnes knows. And she isn’t telling.
