I THINK this is the first time we’ve seen Beanie since Funny Girl, which is probably for the best — she’s had plenty of time to put that away. The Internet, of course, has not; I Googled her to see what she’s doing now, and the first question was, “Why is Beanie Feldstein being replaced?” Fortunately for Beanie, she is not being replaced in the grand scheme of the universe, and has a Coen Brothers movie and Merrily We Roll Along on her docket. I wish it were a Coen Brothers version of Merrily We Roll Along, but we can’t have everything.
