Cape Fear wasn’t eligible for this year’s Emmys, so get ready for next spring and a slew of FYCs reminding everyone that it existed. Maybe Amy is saving the razzle-dazzle for that. For now, it’s more Cape Sensible. Everything she’s wearing in this post is, you know, on her body. It’s clothing that is clothing her! It’s present and accounted for! It’s mostly practical! Although that particular skirt in the above photo looks rather like she tore the slit in the car on the way over.
And this! Sensible! Functional! Calm! It says, “I can type up your notes, I can work on your car, I can do my company’s books and squeeze the profits so we don’t have to lay anyone off.” Also, I am sure I’ve said this before and forgotten, but: In this photo, she really, really looks like Jenna Fischer from The Office.
She wore this for a panel discussion, and it’s basically PEAK sensible for that. She can sit down without anything riding up on her. On the one hand, all this Sensible lets her head shine, and boy does it. I missed her face! Her hair is so glossy! But on the other, I AM looking forward to a bit more razzmatazz, whenever that day arrives.
