Ever Anderson is in Luc Besson’s latest movie, which tracks, because he both worked with and married her mother Milla Jovovich. (He also involved himself, presumably sexually,** with a 15-year old when he was 31 — they eventually married, but for me that changes nothing about how NOPE that is — and ergo even if I had an amiable relationship with him I might not let my daughter be in one of his movies??? But what do I know.) I feel like Ever and Kaia Gerber could go toe-to-toe for which one is more evocative of their model mothers.
** I originally used “date” here because there was no age of consent in France at the time and so I wasn’t sure what else I could call it without getting in hot water, and my brain got all twisted. It would be statutory rape here but legally wasn’t there (which, come on, France!). To be clear, whatever it was IS GROSS and inappropriate to me and sure seems like an abuse of power dynamics. I still think the current age of consent there — 15 — is crazy low. Anyway, I did not mean to romanticize or minimize this by calling it dating. It is NOT. After we workshopped it in the comments, I rewrote and I think the edit now is better. “Groomed” is another option.
