The original runway version of this dress was CONSIDERABLY more nipple-forward and I think it was a good call to (a) line it more aggressively and (b) also go for the bandeau bra under there. (Which you can barely even see in the snaps that we got.) Amanda Seyfried is many things — charming in the Mammas Mia; someone whose boobs can tell the weather — but despite the latter example, “nipple-forward sheer enthusiast” is not one of them! This version of this dress is just…reasonable and relaxing and uncomplicated and profresh. I feel soothed.
