MOST IMPORTANTLY: La Janney does not have pigtails in this photo. That is an optical illusion with the poster behind her. That would have been a very bold life choice on her part, especially in gingham, and I would have been confuzzled.
Let me be frank: I am always confused by these shirts where they’re like, “this shirt ALSO needs a train but ON YOUR HIP.” But I also think it sort of works here. Is that just my relief over the hair scenario talking? Please tell me how to feel.
