This was an event for the MPTF, which is a long-running — and I mean, like, Dating from the Mary Pickford Era long-running — organization that provides help for people in the entertainment industry who’ve fallen upon hard times. (Their website says “MPTF supports our entertainment community in living and aging well, with dignity and purpose, and in helping each other in times of need,” and that’s nice!) They had an event this week! People wore stuff! And I’m relieved to tell you that all the stuff that was worn was reasonable. It’s so relaxing when that happens.
