There are some GREAT memories in here: Stripes from last year, lots of sparkle, and RITA MORENO looking exactly the same and in the same jacket she wore to the Globes. You know, the Globes get so much attention for being the first awards show of the year — and typically the drunkest — that the SAGs often get forgotten. But that one has, for some reason, stealthily become one of the better-dressed gatherings of the year. I cannot think of a logical reason for it, except that people either think it’s a safer place to try out different cuts, colors, or patterns, or that maybe actors just want to look cooler for other actors. Okay, that’s totally made-up; I don’t have a theory. But I do hope its streak continues on Sunday.
