So, Chad Powers began life as a comedy bit with Eli Manning, where he disguised himself at Penn State as a 41-year old walk-on. Now, it’s a show starring Glen Powell as a disgraced college quarterback who tries to start over; while I found the Manning sketch amusing at times, I certainly did not need more of it. We’ll see how this goes. But I’ll say this: The winner here is Eli, who gets to say he is essentially being embodied now by Glen Powell.
