I was just saying after the Creative Arts Emmys that Nicole Byer should be on all the red carpets, and BOOM, her Nailed It nomination gave us what we wanted. She was also one of only two people in purple, making her an outlier in this otherwise VERY pink slideshow. Yellow was the most surprising trend, but pink followed up a very prominent night at the Met Gala by splashing itself all over the Emmys too.
