Behold what Informative Caption tells me is a “[p]ortrait of actors Imelda Staunton and Maurice Thorogood laughing and jumping through through a park, celebrating winning Most Promising Actress and Actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London, August 3rd 1976.” Maurice  was in The Bitch with Joan Collins — and my god if that’s not living up to one’s promise, I do not know what is, and that is completely sincere on my part — and seems do to a lot of stage-managing and theatrical direction now. He got a truly glorious height on this leap and his 70s hair was delightful! And RADA certainly got it right with Imelda Staunton — our current Queen of The Crowns to come — and, apparently, an aficionado of cute clogs for going on 45 years.
