I think a lot about how Zoe Saldana, iconically of Center Stage and Crossroads, is now a woman with three massive franchises (Avatar, Guardians/Marvel movies, and those Star Treks). It’s like when a soap actor hits it big; I have this prickle of pride, of discovery, as if I (we; all of us who were there too) knew her first. So good for her for nailing down all of that, and accordingly, a Star of the Year award at Cinemacon. She looked so sleek doing it… until she didn’t:
