Informative Caption says that “Yvonne Orji attends the Vacation Friends Special VIP Pool Party Screening at The Hollywood Roosevelt,” which is a sentence that seemed like it had one too many nouns until I did some Googling and realized Vacation Friends is a Netflix movie that she’s in with John Cena and Lil Rel Howery, among other people. I was also confused by her shoes/toes situation and then I remembered that clear shoes are a thing (a thing that is weird to me). I am not, however, confused by this dress because it is gorgeous on her and the color is perfection. (Okay, I’m a LITTLE confused about the long sleeves at something marketed as a “pool party” but I truly just believe she has been waiting all pandemic long to wear this and said, “it’s the COLOR of a pool and therefore, it works.” I will allow this.)
