GET READY FOR OUR MOST GLAMOROUS CHAT EVER!

Sincerely, though, as I lugged the trash to the trash chute yesterday, I thought to myself, “when I was a kid, I never thought being a grown-up would involved taking out the trash so often.” I am BUT ONE WOMAN. How is it possible that I create so much garbage? I feel like so much of my life involves me cleaning up after myself: laundry, dishes, vacuuming BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. Some of this is because I am single — there is no one to share the load; if I don’t wash the dishes, no one will — but I also think that we humans are just mess machines. I truly do not know how those of you with kids do it. (I have had a cleaning person in the past but am currently in a fully DIY situation and it’s shaking out pretty well, other than being time-consuming.) I will say, I find cleaning 100% easier since I’ve made the rule that I can only listen to certain podcasts when I clean, and I would love to hear your cleaning tips and tricks, too. (Like, if one of you can figure out a way to force me to put my clothes away rather than just draping them over a chair….you’ll be a miracle worker.)

CLEAN IT UP, FUG NATION.
