So. I have a copy of this book — you might have seen it on our Instagram — and it is SO CUTE. It is so cute. It’s the most charming crafty book I’ve seen in AGES, and Pat is a Fug National!

Let us read the back of the book:

Discover one of the coolest new crafts around with this fun and collectible guide. No plastic, wood, or metal base is involved; the cuddly dolls are easily made by wrapping yarn around itself. Each project features simple instructions accompanied by color photographs that illustrate every step. The only hard part is choosing a character, so you might just have to make them all! The 31 projects include yarn dolls of Queen Elizabeth at her coronation and on her 90th birthday, Charles and Di, Will and Kate, and many others. Bonus crochet patterns for royal accessories are included.

That copy does not fully indicate how DELIGHTFUL this entire project is. Look at your little yarn version of Princess Diana in her wedding gown:

I’m delighted that we have two signed copies to give away today — and if you win and make something from the book, please send us a pic!

THE TASK: I’ll be picking our winners at random, but please comment and tell me what your biggest craft-y project disaster OR triumph has been.

THE RULES: All entries must be posted in the comments of this post by 9 p.m. Pacific time on Friday.  FYI, if this is the first time you’ve commented here, the system will automatically kick you into comment moderation, but don’t worry, I will rescue you.
