The belt is obviously the star of this outfit — it catches your eye immediately, it’s cool and unusual, and you almost don’t even look past it. But if you DO, suddenly you see a brutally hemmed beige jacket, which COULD have been cool if it didn’t look like it had been tailored with a butter knife. And THEN that sends the mind wandering to how it’d look if it were properly done AND also in a striking color, like a rich burgundy or a crisp medium blue, instead of the color of silly putty. So the deflection ALMOST worked, but not quite. I applaud the moxie of the attempt.
