Kristine Froseth is promoting Oh, Canada, a movie in which Richard Gere plays a dying filmmaker who agrees to be the subject of a documentary. And she is wearing a whole lot of ideas. I don’t necessarily like all of the ideas? I’m unclear why it turns into a sweater at the hem, nor why said sweater got bad hair plugs, and it’s a bold person who wears socks the color of the Grinch. Especially during this season. But I would like to give her laurels for wearing something that’s fun to look at, and to dissect; it may be a little janky but it’s uniquely janky. I don’t have to screech for the umpteenth time about proportions, or sheers, or hoiks. If the whole top were red and sparkly, I might even… be into this?!? Maybe Canada WON’T even mind its association with this dress.
