It’s delightful that West Side Story has elicited such positive reactions from people — exciting for Rachel Zegler, thrilling for Rita Moreno, and I’m sure Spielberg is pretty chuffed too. I THINK the Los Angeles premiere is tonight, and the cast warmed up with a panel discussion at which its young star MAY have made her playclothes out of nothing but some old drapes.
