Saint Laurent, for me, has become synonymous with dark things. Not the evil arts; rather, if you need something simple and streamlined and probably black, that’s where you go. (The few plaid pieces here notwithstanding.) Basically, this might be one of those lines where the runway shows bore the heck out of me, and I need the alchemy of a good stylist and the right client to feel inspired.
