It cracks me up that this photo was snapped right in front of the guest check-in for this event. She’s just trying to get in to the open bar, you guys!
Real talk: I feel like this dress could have gone SOOOOOOO very wrong. It’s one of those patterns that makes me think, “ooh, I’d love that as wallpaper in my breakfast room!” (I don’t have a breakfast room.) And sometimes a woman just cannot pull off a Wallpaper Dress. There are a lot of actresses on whom this would have looked totally ridiculous: Jennifer Lawrence, for example, would like like she was being straggled by her grandmother’s country house in this. But something about Felicity’s Period Piece Face makes it work for me. (It helps that she rarely wears a pattern, and I’m always predisposed to one.) High degree of difficulty: Full marks.
