This is like a very well constructed and highly complicated doily, but I still love it:
It’s like what would happen if someone wrote a sequel to Dangerous Liasions wherein the Marquise de Merteuil decides to regroup post-Valmont by focusing on lace-making at a secluded convent, and accidentally ends up making herself the perfect frock with which to shock society upon her re-entrance.
